Quite possibly not as fucked up as the last dream... I want to be a cheesecake is hard to top. Okay, maybe more fucked up, but in a different way.



Now that I'm awake... Anyone seen or heard from Ran? Hell, Dino even?

[Dash twists his lips and stares kind of at the back of the couch Sniper is laying on, instead of directly at Sniper.]

Yeah, I know. Sorry for being so, I dunno, not level-headed about this. I can't be helping.

[Dash looks at Sniper, leans his chin on his hand.]

Guess we both got it rough, right?

Guitar huh? What I wouldn't give for a good guitar hero dream right now.

[Dash pauses and shakes his head.]

I'd tell you about it but... Don't think it's my place. It's T's dream, his issues, even if I'm getting treated to them with a front row ticket.

[Sniper shifts to stare at the ceiling for a moment before looking back down and snorting softly.]

Look, if you were being level-headed about a situation like this I'd wonder who the hell ripped your mind out and replaced it with a robot. You're fine. We're both worried, and seriously -- you're entitled to some freaking-out.

[Sniper pauses, wrapping one finger in a lock of hair and tugging on it absently as he thinks.]

No...don't. From what little I saw, it's not something he wants spoken about and I'm not going to infringe on that. Some people's issues need to be kept private.

Heh. Yeah I guess. Thanks.

[Dash pokes at his journal, watching words write themselves on the page thoughtfully.]

Yeah, no, I agree there. It's weird enough knowing someone dreamed my dream, and I'm pretty sure mine was pretty much as not-deep as dreams go. You know? On the level of dreaming about waking up and putting on your socks.

[Sniper puts his journal down after a bit, stretching out on the sofa which is way too froufrou and he'd prefer to be in bed but you do what you have to do when Bastet verbally kicks your ass.]

Mine was...weird. A mess. And pretty damned angry. But you're right, it sort of feels like someone's snooping in my head if they got mine. With something that looks like it might be that issue-y? Damn.

[Dash leans his chin on his arms and eyes Throne's writing sleepily at Sniper talks.]

Angry huh? You seem pretty chill, but I guess it's hard to tell. I don't mind so much that is was Cross, he seems cool, but like, if someone who wasn't got your dream... How are you supposed to react to that? The whole thing with T and Want is kind of awkward enough without this.

[Sniper goes back to looking at the ceiling thoughtfully.]

Yeah. Furious. Couldn't really explain why, but apparently someone did something to me that I couldn't forgive. I guess...well. There's not much we can do to stop it, but that doesn't mean we should stress about it until it happens.

[He pauses and glances over.]

So what is the deal there?

[Dash watches Sniper almost neutrally, normally expressive face just sort of blank; though that could be a byproduct of being really tired.]

That sounds like it sucks. But I kind of get that. Some things definitely are worth getting pissed about. I know there's no point, but it's hard not to get worked up over having your head fucked with.

[Dash meets Sniper's eyes and kind of shrugs, expression moving to puzzled.]

Hell if I know. They were in my dream and it's kind of obvious we all knew each other. But I kind of thought identical twins were supposed to be... I dunno, identical.

[Sniper is about to say something and then he just...stops and blinks at Dash, a sort of quizzical expression crossing his features.]

...yeah. Identical twins...hm.

[He sort of looks thoughtful for a moment, then shakes it off.]

I completely understand getting worked up over this. I'm just trying to take it all in stride, more or less...other people are getting really really screwed up over this, after all. So you have an 'identical' twin?
