If you become a target, what is gained? I am not asking this to argue. You are free to do what you want, and I understand that it is not enough to sit around.
I can think of three options.
One, you are ignored. This does nothing.
Two, you are killed. Perhaps you pay the price the writing spoke of and gain something. But there is also a loss.
Three, you find something out. If there is no safe place, then there is no safe way to spread the information out so that more know and that it cannot vanish with one death or one disappearance.
Is the risk and the price worth it? Or can you overcome the danger so that perhaps something can be accomplished?
