First Rerun - Pen Wars

[The post is in Cross and Dash's handwriting, with a lot of squiggled lines, ink dots and scribbles. The handwriting is messy on both their parts.]

Hey guys [Squiggly line]

We lost our other pen. Please bear with us for a moment.

Yeah, he greeted me this second time.

That'd be nice. I hope that's the case.

[He doubts she would without leaving a note or something, but then, he's not known her all that long. So he'll just hope he's wrong.]
live_ringer: (That I have found it.)

Is that so? Guess I'm a lucky guy. Seems like a bad joke, though, letting the crazies bring guide the confused newcomers.

[Darned duties.]

Can't argue that one.

Good to hear from you again, Gene.

I'm hoping that's the case and yet I can't help but be worried.
live_ringer: (See the way their minds have glazed.)

strikes are completely inked over after a moment

Likewise, Cross.

I know what you mean. Kind of hard to tell the difference between what's a serious situation and what's a false alarm here. Guess the only thing for it is to keep an eye out. If people can still 'feel' her, maybe the lift-

ditto

Sometimes serious situations hit us one after another. This place is rather cruel and doesn't care who it hurts. You're right, all we can do is watch for her. The lift?

And again.

Show no mercy? Well, after the latest disaster, I can't say I'm surprised. The elevator takes people somewhere else for a while at times, right?

Same

[identity profile] crownofsnow.livejournal.com 2009-11-06 08:35 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think it knows mercy. I wish it did. ...Yes it does. I was trapped down there for a month once.
live_ringer: (Will to come back to you now.)

Same as it ever was

[personal profile] live_ringer 2009-11-06 08:47 am (UTC)(link)
This is probably a spot where an more idealistic man would make a comment about teaching it mercy. As is, I just feel like saying sod the damn tree. You think maybe...?
