Ah, it isn't about demands. It is that any kind of weapon needs the wielder to be responsible and cunning. What to attack, when to attack, how to defend and what you are willing to lose for the cause.

Oh, I was too! I don't really know how to make lasers that can fight monsters. It's so advanced, I probably don't even know sans amnesia. I was just—what do you call it? "Pulling your leg".

Of course. But you would know how to make smaller lasers? Hypothetically?

We actually already have laser devices here. Some of us have DVD players, if I'm not mistaken? And I brought a couple of laser pointers from one city Wilderness.

Plus I've been told that the sphere gave everyone lasers once, for laser tag. Of course they were harmless lasers, not the people destroying lasers you're thinking of.

Heck even the wii remotes have laser technology in them, it would be a matter of making them more powerful. In theory.

And how would one amplify their power?

Increase their power source and the focusing lenses to start with. It depends on the strength of the original laser, I guess.

So would it be better to improve a weak laser, or start from the beginning?

Do you think this place would give us access to materials to start from scratch?

I know that there are creative people here, and the Wilderness changes. Anything is possible. But you likely have been here longer than me; do you think the chances are slim of materials being acquired?

Well even if we were to get the materials, it would be likely that the Sphere would sabotage the effort at some point in the process. Besides, even if you built your dinosaur/shark war machine, who are you gonna aim those weapons at?

It actively works against those attempting to achieve something?

Another problem is tuning up the power, since we have no laser power meter.

It's the control to the wii video game system. They have some in the bar. They're the little white box next to the plasma tvs.

Yeah it's not like we're gonna find any of this lying around somewhere. ...Right?

I believe that an organized list of required components and materials is becoming necessary.

I will see what I can come up with, but I'm afraid it won't be a priority.

It is a worthwhile long-term project.
